1. Who we are

Sumi is provided by Abdessamad Souilem, a private individual, based in Lithuania ("we"). Contact: contact@sumipdf.com.

2. What Sumi does

Sumi is a web application that helps you find and black out personal data in documents. All document processing happens in your browser, on your device. We do not receive, store or have access to your documents.

3. Your responsibility

Sumi suggests what to redact; you decide. Automatic detection can miss information or flag information that is not personal. You are responsible for reviewing every document before you share it, and for complying with the laws that apply to the documents you process. Sumi does not provide legal advice and does not guarantee that a redacted document is anonymous within the meaning of any law.

4. Plans and licenses

The Free plan includes every feature for documents up to 10 pages. Pro and Teams remove the page limit. A paid plan is delivered as a license key valid for the paid period. Pro licenses are for one person; Teams licenses cover the number of seats purchased. Do not share a license beyond what you paid for.

5. Payment

Orders are processed by Paddle.com, our reseller and Merchant of Record, which handles payment, invoicing, taxes and refunds under its own terms. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel at any time from your Paddle receipt, and your license keeps working until the end of the paid period.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use Sumi to break the law, to infringe others' rights, or to attack, overload or reverse-engineer the service's licensing.

7. Availability and changes

Sumi runs in your browser and keeps working offline, but we may change or discontinue features. We will give reasonable notice of changes that materially affect paid plans.

8. Liability

Sumi is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for information that remains in a document you chose to share. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.

9. Law

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Lithuania, and disputes go to the courts of Lithuania. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence.
